Ecourses and Niches
in Email List Building &FAQ by Nicole on
Here’s a question I received today:
Hi Nicole,
I really enjoyed Jimmy D. Brown’s course on how to create a mini e-course in a day. I’m going to get right on that!
As far as newsletters go I have a quick question…I’ve got two passions, both to “niche” my services.
In your opinion for a newsletter, would chosing one be better over the other? Are two newsletters too cumbersome?
Well, it’s been fun “picking your brain”! Thanks.
Hi!
First of all, you are VERY smart to niche down your VA business. That’ll help you much down the road to make you stand out from all the other VAs. GREAT thinking.
As for which group to target, I’d pick the one that has the most potential first. You can always add to it later. For instance, I have several ecourses, each niched down.
Each is very targeted. I started with one ecourse (WebTrafficBasics.com) — added about 30 messages to my autoresponder, promoted it, and got it rocking, before I moved on to the next one. I’d recommend a focused approach so you can get your first ecourse really successful, and THEN survey your readers to find out what other ecourses you can offer down the road.
Warmly,
Nicole

Dear Nicole,
Just wanted to tell you how much I like your blog. I have seen you around the ‘Net for a while now and feel it’s time we met.
My name is Heidi Richards and I am Founder & CEO of the WECAI Network™ (http://www.wecai.org). Our mission is to “help women do business on and off the web.”
We would love the opportunity to interview you! We do a weekly webinar – called eWednesday Chat and meet in a hot conference room online. If this is something you would consider (and we hope you do), please email me at Heidi (at) WECAI.org. With all your experience and online expertise we could talk about almost anything relative to our mission.
Much thanks!
