the script is very easy to install. Here are the installation instructions so you can judge for yourself…

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Upload “find-blogs.php” to your web host which supports PHP.
2. Access the file on your web host through a browser.

To elaborate, you just upload the php file to your web server just like you would upload any other file. Then you just open your web browser and go to http://www.Yourwebsite.com/find-blogs.php to use it.

I think it literally took me 2 minutes to get this up and running (and most of that time was spent looking for my logins to upload files to me site )

You sure can tell. If you’re on a blog and want to know, go to a page where there have been comments and right click and select “view source” OR go to your toolbar on the top of your computer screen and click “view” and then “view source”.

If you see this –> rel=’external nofollow’ < – near the links in the comments, that means that they do NOT follow your links.

Nancy, you only need the script for WordPress blogs. No worries on your other websites, as they should be fine. WordPress just has a piece of code they added to all their blogs by default to “nofollow” comments. I believe it was initially added to slow down spammers from posting. However, now there are so many scripts to slow spammers that I figure having an active blog is worth dealing with having to to manually delete an occasional spam post, don’t you?

This is just what I’ve been looking for. I’m so happy I found your site — for sure I will have a look around because it seems like there are a ton of valuable tips and resources here.

Some of my sites have php on them, so I should be able to put the script on one of them and start using it for my niches and — gosh, I can think of so many great reasons to use it.

The timing is good for me too because I’m about to move my blogger blogs to my own sites and use WP instead — kind of a scary venture into the unknown — but how hard can it be? I already know how to use blogger and WP is supposed to give me more control, right?
