A scrap book project for me and she didn’t give me a cost for making the cards I ask her to make , each card was for my daughter ‘s wedding and took about a half hour to make. Thanks, Diane

This is really good information on making profit from scrapbooking. I think it takes the right kind of person to do well with this type of business.

Personally I prefer finding money making ideas that will allow me to make residual income without having to sell my time for money.

Hi Nicole-good article-I am also a scrapbooker for hire-have been for about 4 years now (wow that time flies!). I think one of the reasons it is so important to have a scrapbook created is to preserve those memories for future generations. I have so many old photos I know nothing about-and the photos that I do know who the people are I still don’t know the stories that go with the photos. Scrapbooking puts these two things together-photos and the stories that go with them.

I’m a scrapbooker for hire so I enjoyed your article; however, you’ve left out an important factor – some of us are DIGITAL scrapbookers for hire! There are tons of advantages to creating scrapbooks digitally, beginning with the most basic – you don’t have to print out your digital photos! Digital scrapbooking is definitely on the rise, and will become hugely popular in the near future (we’re already “green”). Would love to share other cool things about digital scapbooking, if you are interested. Now, I’m off to check out Vera’s course!
