Gmail Signature Trick.
in Other Stuff by Nicole on
I use gmail and love it. However, there has always been one little thing that ‘irked’ me about it.
Every time I replied to someone my email signature would end up aaaaaalllllll the way at the bottom of the email. Normally I’d copy & paste it up higher, but oftentimes I wouldn’t bother.
Well, there is a cool trick feature in gmail now that you can select to have this done automatically. Here’s how…
1. Log into gmail.
2. Click on “Settings” in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
3. Then, click on “Labs” which is on the right side of the bar on the middle of the screen. Here – see the right side?
4. Once you select that tab, scroll down to where it says “Signature tweaks” and click on enable.
5. Go to the bottom and click the “Save changes” button.
Voila! You’re done.
It’s quite handy and I’m very happy that I found this great tool. I hope it helps you, as well.
Warmly,
Nicole

Gmail is a great thing. I have not really dug too deep into it but I must say that I have heard wonderful things about it. Nicole, thanks for the tip. I am sure there are a lot of people out there, me included that did not know how to do that.

Ms. Dean:
Thank you for providing a signature trick with Gmail.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have Labs for my business domain and made the fatal mistake of creating a Google Apps account and posted the question when ‘Labs’ would be enabled. Now when you do a domain search of my website this Google Apps question remains at the forefront of the search and appears impossible to delete. What’s worse ‘Markmail’ among others have copied this question along with my domain so when you do a search of my business domain you will get a ‘Labs not Activated’ published by many groups referencing my domain. Please let me know if there is a way to delete my question in Google Apps Discussion Group; I have sent the group owner a message weeks ago but without solution. If you have any ideas, please let me know!
