I am a firm believer in taking full advantage of every visitor that you get to your website.
One of the ways to do that is by having an Upsell.
Statistics show that 40% of your customers WILL give you more money if you ask them to. Are you asking?
Here’s an excellent report on the topic. Seriously it has so many ideas that it’ll make your head spin!
The report really only applies to digital products, so if you’re selling ebooks, it’ll be perfect for you. If you’re selling candles, it’ll be a bit harder to apply.
So, you might be asking – How do you do an upsell? Well, I have an EXCELLENT example from my friend, Melissa.
She’s got a $1 offer on the main page, but, when the visitors click on the “Order” button, they get an even BETTER deal.

I’ve seen upsells done badly . . . like the ones that come after you pay. So there you are looking for the product you paid for and you’re being bombarded by more offers. Or the ones that send you to not just 1 upsell page, but 3 or 4, one right after the other. That’s crazy, lol!
But if you do it right, it’s a great way to increase your income and still keep your customers happy
